Algorithms (AI) are the fundamental instructions for AI applications to process data into a systematic transformation of raw facts or figures into readable, actionable information.

Encryption Security Algorithms are the basis of modern day applications for digital security to transmit passwords, process credit card transactions & or Ciphertext for secure private communications.

Algorithms are for core logic to dictate the fundamental

rules of a program, input & output applications & data organization

such as sorting & searching to organize data. Intelligent

Quantum computing uses quantum mechanics utilizing qubits, which

can exist as 0’s or 1’s or both simultaneously for Cybersecurity.

Quantum mechanics differs from classical physics by showing that

nature operates on probabilities & in discrete units rather than

in continuous, predictable streams.

Cybersecurity & Cryptography are related, but they are not the

same. A simple way to think about it is:

Cybersecurity is the broad field of protecting computers, networks,

systems, data from malware & ransomware, phishing attacks,

network intrusions & inside threata.

Cryptography is a specialized branch of cybersecurity using

encryption algorithms to mathematically scrambling information

information into Cyphertext & with the correct decryption

algorithm & key Instructions to unlock & decode RSA

& Eliliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC).

Cryptography is used for HTTPS websites, message apps,

online banking, password storage, Bitcoins.

just some applications.

Syracuse University.
